Wow! What an amazing week. Even though I was not feeling 100% I decided to dive in and participate in the New Years challenge. I did so knowing 1000 push ups and sit ups was not realistic for me at this time, but what a great opportunity to push myself and see what I could accomplish. I can't wait to see what I can accomplish next year. I loved being part of the banquet set up Friday night and Saturday. It felt good to contribute and be a part of everything. I'm already seeing the benefits of being a member of the I Ho Chuan team for myself and my son.
This is the third banquet I have attended and the first one as a student. Every banquet has been memorable and I hope to never miss one in the future. I have had only a glimpse of all the hard work and effort that goes into preparing for this night and I am truly appreciative of the final results.
Congratulations to Sifu Tymchuk and Sifu Beckett on their black belt promotions as well as all the others who received awards and promotions. I loved Sihing Csillag's speech about mental health. It was truly inspiring. Thank you! Well done to all the students that performed at the banquet and a big thank you to all the instructors and volunteers. An amazing night and an amazing week.
